Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced the RBI Grade B Officers exam notification on 3rd July 2018. All the eligible aspirants who are aspiring can apply now. Online application for RBI Grade B post starts from Tuesday, 3rd July 2018 and closes on Monday, 23rd July 2018. RBI Grade B Examination Pattern
Your selection will be based on ONLINE Exam and Personality Test or Interview. Candidates have to secure minimum qualifying marks separately for each exam as well as in the aggregate. These examinations will be held in two stages:
Stage 1: Objective Type (Online Exam)
Stage 2: Online Examination
Personality Test / Interview
- All successful candidates will be shortlisted for the personality test, based on their aggregate obtained in Stage-2 (Paper 1, 2 & 3). The minimum aggregate cut off marks for being shortlisted for Interview will be decided by the Board in relation to the number of vacancies.
RBI Grade B Eligibility Criteria
I. Nationality: a candidate must be either:-
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary, may be admitted to the examination but the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him/her by the Government of India.
A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on the 1st of July, 2018 i.e., he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1988 and not later than 1st July, 1997. For candidates possessing M.Phil. and Ph.D. qualification, upper age limit will be 32 and 34 years respectively.
Age Relaxation: Candidates belonging to the below categories will be provided age relaxation in the upper age as per the rules.
